This is primarily a video update.
In a couple days we’ll be at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco for The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.
All years have some “Sophie’s Choices” - as you weigh which acts you MUST see - which automatically excludes acts scheduled at or near the same time on different stages.
This year was made especially challenging with the announcement of Robert Plant and his new band, Saving Grace. He’s gone all-in on acoustic/Americana music and we are thrilled with that!
In this video I discuss a little bit about the festival and how we’ll navigate it plus the iconic photo of Robert Plant holding the dove. That happened in Golden Gate Park at Kezar Stadium in 1973. 53 years after that rock history moment I’ll get the opportunity to see Plant perform at the same park!
In other news, I have a couple performances coming up.
October 17, 2026 - 5pm
Barclay’s Coffee - Northridge, CA
October 24, 2026 - 6pm
Tomato Joe’s - Canyon Country, CA
November 7, 2026 - 4pm
Feros Ferio Winery - Ojai, CA
Check the calendar for details.
I’ll report back after the weekend.
Thanks for joining me on this journey!
With Love and Gratitude,
Matthew Moran
