In January I created a published an article and video covering Open D Tuning and how I use it to inspire songwriting. My songs, Marie and Love Has Flown both use Open D tuning - though I capo up for Love Has Flown.

Today I published a long-overdue video on Open G tuning and associated chord shapes for songwriters.

I realize not all of you play guitar but perhaps it is interesting enough to spend a few minutes watching or passing along to 1,000,000 of your closest songwriting and guitar playing friends.

I am pretty sure my next video and post is going to be about what you do when your time does not seem to be your own. Perhaps you guys can offer me some advice but the last few weeks have been BRUTAL from a busy/time allocation perspective.

Other than that, I hope everyone is doing well. I am feeling healthy and excited about all I have going on. It is the sundries of life that seem to be arriving in a never-ending stream.

As soon as I clear a few, I turn around to find 4 or 5 or 10 new sundries have materialized.

You know how those sundries are!
